Greenlanders protest against Trump as the U.S. opens new consulate

Hundreds of people in Greenland protested outside the new U.S. consulate against President Trump’s ambitions for greater influence in the Danish territory. The protest followed the White House’s January statement that Trump was considering how to acquire Greenland, citing its strategic importance for Arctic security.
