GPT-6 Astra is generally available in GitHub Copilot

OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra is now generally available in GitHub Copilot, according to GitHub. The model, designed for long-horizon autonomous coding and agentic tasks, is available to Copilot Pro+, Max, Business, and Enterprise users across platforms including Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, Copilot CLI, and GitHub Mobile. Rollout is gradual, and administrators can manage access through model policy settings.
