GPT-4.1 deprecated

GitHub deprecated the GPT-4.1 model across all Copilot experiences on June 1, 2026, directing users to migrate to GPT-5.5 as the suggested alternative. Enterprise administrators must enable access to the replacement model through Copilot settings, after which it will appear in the model selector in VS Code and on github.com.
