Google published a Workspace Weekly Recap on November 6, 2026, detailing Gemini-powered updates across its productivity suite, including Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash in Google Vids, which generates videos up to 15 seconds with improved character consistency and vocal realism. Google also began a global rollout of a Google Classroom integration letting teachers add Guided Learning to any assignment in all Gemini-supported languages, and introduced Gemini-driven actionable insights in Google Forms that analyze responses and recommend next steps. Other changes include admin-set custom policy text shown before Google Meet calls, image-based custom avatars in Google Vids (rollout paused), and Policy-Based Enforcement for client-side encryption in Drive and Editors, now in beta.
