The update is not yet widely rolled out.", "body_md": "The voice search button accessible from the Google bar found on most Android homescreens is getting a big redesign.\n\nIn the [previous design introduced earlier this year](https://9to5google.com/2026/01/19/google-voice-search-redesign-android/), tapping the four-color microphone in the Google widget or inside the Google app would just transcribe your query for a regular Search.
