Google's newest AI model is here, but you can't try it yet.

Google's Gemini 4 Argon model is now in internal use by thousands of Googlers but is not yet publicly available, the company said. Google claims Argon agents found memory optimizations that will free up more than 300 TiB across its data centers once rolled out, and that the model's output limit has risen to 1 million tokens from 64,000. Google also says Gemini 4 Argon leads the Vals Index, which weights finance, coding, legal and tax work by each sector's share of US GDP, and leads Vals Finance Agent v2, a test of multi-step financial research — results that come from Google itself, leaving outside testing as the real measure.
