The rollout is per-device and not yet widely available. Google is introducing a blue gradient ring around your Account photo to indicate whether you’re subscribed to a paid AI tier. Previously, Google used a four-color ring — red, blue, green, and yellow — around your Account avatar to indicate that you were a Google One subscriber. With the advent of AI Plus, AI Pro, and AI Ultra, Google is switching to a blue gradient ring in the vast majority of first-party apps. Tapping reveals an updated design for the fullscreen menu that is a bit more compact. Your email address, profile picture, and name are now placed in a card that notes your tier. The account switcher is also part of this card. “Manage your Google Account” appears next with increased prominence, while there is an “Upgrade to Google AI Ultra” or similar upsell to round things out. Old vs. new On Android, this is rolling out on a per-device basis. If it’s available on your phone or tablet, it will appear for the vast majority of apps at once. That said, not all apps have been updated with support today. The web is seeing a similar launch with the example below from the google.com homepage . This is not yet widely available as of today, but it’s appearing for more users. FTC: We use income earning auto affiliate links.
