# Google joins AI vulnerability fight with code-fixing agent > Source: > Published: 2026-07-22 16:24:25+00:00 [Security](/tag/security/) Google is rolling out enterprise access to a DeepMind AI agent for hunting and patching bugs, joining its peers in offering AI agents to fight off their bug-exploiting counterparts. CodeMender was [first unveiled](https://www.thestack.technology/codemender-google-unveils-full-auto-security-patch-ai/) in October 2025 as an internal DeepMind project, but is now available [in preview](https://cloud.google.com/blog/products/identity-security/find-and-fix-software-vulnerabilities-with-codemender?ref=thestack.technology) via the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, or Google's new AI Threat Defence platform, launched after its 2025 [Wiz merger](https://www.thestack.technology/google-drops-cool-32bn-for-wiz-in-multicloud-security-play).
