Google expands Gemini’s interactive models to even more users

Google is rolling out Gemini's interactive simulations and models feature to all Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers, and users who meet minimum age requirements, expanding beyond the April announcement. The update, available now in the Gemini app, lets users generate tinkerable 3D models, tables, and grids, such as a rotatable DNA double helix, replacing static diagrams.

  • Earlier this year, Google gave Gemini the ability to generate interactive simulations and models.
  • This feature is now rolling out to all Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers, and users who meet the minimum age requirements.
  • The update is available now in the Gemini app.
If you’re having trouble understanding a complicated subject, sometimes visualization can do the trick. However, while an image can be helpful, having a visual model that you can actually interact with is even better. As Gemini is a tool that’s commonly used to help people understand complex concepts, it’s only natural that Gemini is gaining the ability to generate simulations and models.

If this sounds familiar, it’s because Google [announced](https://www.androidauthority.com/google-gemini-interactive-simulations-3656405/) the same feature back in April. However, Google [says](https://workspaceupdates.googleblog.com/2026/08/generate-interactive-simulations-and-models-in-the-Gemini-app.html) it is now rolling the feature out for Workspace users. This includes Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers, and users who meet the minimum age requirements.

As a brief overview, this feature allows Google’s chatbot to take your questions and transform them into simulations, models, tables, and grids you can tinker with. For example, if you were to ask “show me how DNA works in a 3D model,” Gemini would create a model of a double helical structure you could rotate or zoom in on. Previously, Gemini could only provide responses with static diagrams.

If you’re a Workspace user, you won’t have to wait to start using this feature. Google says that it is available right now in the Gemini app.
