Google announces ‘Expert Intelligence’ to let you add Play Books in Gemini Notebook

Google launched Expert Intelligence, a cross-Google initiative that lets users add purchased Google Play Books ebooks to Gemini Notebook as sources, with over 100,000 titles from publishers including Bloomsbury, De Gruyter Brill, Johns Hopkins University Press, Macmillan Publishers, O'Reilly Media, and Penguin Random House. The feature requires users to own the book through Google Play Books, and shared notebooks prompt collaborators to purchase their own copy. Google plans to expand Expert Intelligence to the Gemini app and AI Mode, and to support additional sources like third-party subscriptions and textbooks.

Select ebooks that you’ve purchased from Google Play Books can now be added to Gemini Notebook and used as sources.
