Google Ads New Translation Tool

Google Ads has begun rolling out a Translation tool inside the advertiser console that lets advertisers translate campaigns to reach global customers, according to Google's in-product copy and a LinkedIn post by Jyll Saskin Gales, who first flagged the new menu. The tool translates text assets including headlines, descriptions, sitelinks and callouts, plus keywords for targeting; for images, AI replaces on-image text and adds the translated text as additional assets, and landing pages can be handled by manually uploading URLs or installing a JavaScript snippet. The rollout appears related to a previously covered localization tool for Search campaigns, though the source could not confirm the connection.

Google Ads is now rolling out the Translation tool within the advertiser console. This allows advertisers to "Translate your campaigns to reach global customers and boost your conversions," Google wrote. I think this is part of the new help document we covered on localization tool for Search campaigns https://www.seroundtable.com/google-ads-ai-campaign-localization-tool-42221.html but I can be wrong. Jyll Saskin Gales, I believe, first posted about this on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7518670068898103296/ saying, "New menu alert in Google Ads: Translation." "You can now translate your campaigns within the Google Ads interface. It's pretty simple Go to Tools Translation to get started," she added. Here is a screenshot of the tool: It says, "Translate with Google Al: Translate your campaigns to reach global customers and boost your conversions." Jyll explained that you can use this tool to translate the following: - Text assets: headlines, descriptions, sitelinks, callouts - Targeting: keywords - Images: AI will replace the on-image text, and add the translated text as additional assets - Landing pages: manually upload your URLs or install a JavaScript snippet on your site Forum discussion at LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7518670068898103296/ .
