Global semiconductor equipment sales are expected to soar 23.2 percent on-year to $165.9 billion in 2026 before reaching an all-time high of $229.5 billion in 2028, according to the report by SEMI, a global industry association representing about 3,000 electronics design and manufacturing companies worldwide. The association said the expansion of AI infrastructure and investment in advanced logic chips, and next-generation memory products, including high-bandwidth memory (HBM), will drive market growth.
