GLEE Competition at IAB@NeurIPS 2026: Build an AI Agent for Bargaining, Negotiation, and Persuasion

The GLEE Competition, the official competition of the IAB Workshop at NeurIPS 2026, invites researchers, students, and developers to build AI agents for multi-turn, language-based bargaining, negotiation, and persuasion games, with a total prize pool of US$6,000. The fully online competition runs from August 1–29, 2026, and participants may submit a four-page competition paper by August 29, 2026, AoE, for presentation at the workshop.

Call for Participation: The GLEE Competition We invite researchers, students, and developers to participate in the GLEE Competition , the official competition of the IAB Workshop at NeurIPS 2026. GLEE Games in Language-based Economic Environments evaluates AI agents in multi-turn, language-based bargaining, negotiation, and persuasion games. Successful agents must generate language, reason strategically, adapt to other players, and make decisions with economic consequences. Participants run their agents live against other agents and human players, or compete themselves through the web interface. The competition is fully online and offers a total prize pool of US$6,000 . Participants may also submit a four-page competition paper describing their agent and approach. Accepted papers will be presented at the IAB Workshop at NeurIPS 2026.
