# GitHub Copilot app available to all

The GitHub Copilot app is now available on every Copilot plan. Sign in with your GitHub account to start agent-driven development from your desktop. Available on macOS, Windows, and Linux platforms.

With this release:

**Every Copilot plan is supported:** This includes users on Copilot Free and GitHub Education. Sign in with your GitHub account and start your first session in a couple of clicks.**You can still build without a Copilot plan:** Bring your own key (BYOK) to run sessions against your own model provider, no Copilot subscription needed.

To access the GitHub Copilot app on a Copilot Business or Enterprise plan, your organization or enterprise admin must have the Copilot CLI enabled in the policy settings.
