No extra golden bonus in the US

The ultra-premium Gigabyte RTX 5090 Infinity has now surfaced at a major US retailer. However, while the graphics card appears to be making its way into the US market, buyers won’t be getting one of the special perks that were previously offered in another region at launch – an extra gram of pure gold.
The AORUS RTX 5090 Infinity celebrates Gigabyte’s 40th anniversary and sits at the very top of the company’s RTX 5090 lineup. It offers a dual-fan design paired with a double flow-through cooling solution. Gigabyte has also equipped it with several premium cooling technologies, including superconducting heat pipes, composite metal grease, and Hawk fan design.

The card is currently listed as an in-store pickup item at Micro Center, although availability appears limited at the moment. In fact, it is already sold out at various stores. Whether significant stock will arrive remains unclear, especially since this is being marketed as a special anniversary edition rather than a mass-produced model.

Under the hood, the RTX 5090 Infinity carries the full specifications expected from Nvidia’s flagship Blackwell gaming GPU. It comes with 21,760 CUDA cores and 32GB of GDDR7 memory running at 28 Gbps across a 512-bit memory interface. Gigabyte has also applied a factory overclock, as the Infinity model features a boost clock of 2730 MHz.
RTX 5090 Infinity stands out due to carrying a hefty $5,300 price tag. This isn’t a graphics card aimed at the average gamer. Instead, it’s clearly targeting collectors, enthusiasts, and users who want something rare in addition to top-tier performance.
No extra golden bonus in the US
One interesting detail is that buyers in Taiwan previously had access to an exclusive promotion tied to the anniversary card. Customers who purchased eligible units during a local launch event could receive a 1-gram piece of 999 (99.9%) pure gold after registration. That bonus helped reinforce the card’s status as a collector-focused product.
The US listing, however, appears to include no such reward. Buyers will still get the same anniversary-branded RTX 5090 hardware, but without the extra gold incentive that accompanied purchases in Taiwan.

No, I want the Steam Machine to be complete Yes, I would buy a RAM-less version Yes, I would buy an SSD-less version I'd buy a bare bones version with neither component
