Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash: Fast, cost-effective, and reliable video generation and editing now generally available

Google Cloud made Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash generally available for video generation and editing, with the model now usable in Gemini for business and Google Vids and via API for developers. Google said the model follows image, video and audio references more closely than before, supports 15-second clips, runs on Provisioned Throughput with SLAs, and stamps outputs with an imperceptible SynthID watermark; audio references remain gated behind allowlisting. Customers including Artlist, FLORA, invideo, Krea, Picsart, Runway and Photoroom are building the model into their products, with Picsart's Narek Hayrapetyan saying general availability lets it bring the quality to "over 100M Picsart creators.
