[Learn more.](https://www.androidauthority.com/external-links/)\n\n# Gemini is about to work with a lot more of your favorite apps\n\nAug 13, 2026 — 3:12 AM ET\n\n- The Gemini app now has over 1 billion monthly active users.\n- Gemini is adding connections with apps including Ticketmaster, Otter.ai, Wix, OpenTable, Zocdoc, Pandora, and more.\n- The bigger goal is to make Gemini more action-oriented, letting you plan and complete tasks from one conversation instead of constantly jumping between different apps.\n\n[Gemini](https://www.androidauthority.com/gemini-intelligence-on-pixel-11-series-3696480/) is already pretty good at answering questions, digging through information, and helping you figure something out without opening a dozen browser tabs. But Google increasingly wants it to do more than tell you what to do. And considering just how many people are using Gemini now, that shift could be a pretty big deal.\n\nGoogle [says](https://blog.google/innovation-and-ai/products/gemini-app/one-billion-monthly-users/) the Gemini app has crossed 1 billion monthly active users, making it the fastest-growing product in the company’s history. Users are pointing [Gemini Live](https://www.androidauthority.com/gemini-live-push-to-talk-3684532/) at things through their cameras, sharing their screens when they need help, uploading schoolwork, and collectively generating more than 150 million images every day.\n\nSo, naturally, Google wants Gemini to become useful in even more parts of your day. Following its [Made by Google event](https://www.androidauthority.com/google-pixel-11-launch-all-announcements-3696743/), the company [announced](https://blog.google/innovation-and-ai/products/gemini-app/new-connected-apps-services-gemini-august-2026/) a bunch of new services that you’ll soon be able to connect directly to Gemini.\n\nThe interesting part isn’t really the number of integrations, though. It’s what they could save you from doing. Say you just finished a work meeting. Instead of opening your meeting notes, finding the important bits, copying them somewhere else, and then asking Gemini to make sense of everything, upcoming integrations with Granola and Otter.ai could make that process much more direct. If you run a website, Wix support will also let Gemini help you make edits without bouncing between services.\n\nThings get even more useful when you’re making plans. Gemini is adding connections with Fever, GetYourGuide, Localiza, OpenTable in the UK, and Ticketmaster. That means a conversation like, “I’m free Saturday evening, find something fun nearby and then somewhere good for dinner,” could potentially involve far less app-hopping than it does today. You could search for an experience or tickets and then move on to making a dinner reservation, all while staying inside the same Gemini conversation.\n\nGoogle is expanding Gemini’s reach around the house and into entertainment, too. iHeartRadio and Pandora integrations will help with finding stations and playing music. In contrast, Angi and Thumbtack can help you look for someone to tackle that leaking tap or home repair you’ve been ignoring.\n\n[says](https://blog.google/innovation-and-ai/products/gemini-app/new-connected-apps-services-gemini-august-2026/)the new connected apps will begin rolling out over the next few weeks.\n\nThank you for being part of our community.
