Gemini Intelligence requires Gemini Nano 3, Google lists first Nano 4 phones

Google has updated its developer documentation to list the first devices running Gemini Nano 4, including the Pixel 11 series and Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip8, Z Fold8, and Z Fold8 Ultra, while restoring the 'Nano v3 or greater' requirement for Gemini Intelligence features on Android. The spec list also mandates 12GB+ RAM, a flagship chip, and 5 OS upgrades, with Gemini Intelligence now supporting over 40 apps on Samsung's latest foldables and debuting Rambler and Proactive Assistance on the Pixel 11 series.
