Gemini in Chrome rolling out to the UK

Google is rolling out Gemini in Chrome to the UK, bringing the AI assistant to desktop users on Mac, Windows, and Chromebook Plus. The feature opens as a side panel or floating window and can summarize content, integrate with Google apps, and transform images using Nano Banana 2 capabilities. The UK launch follows expansions to the US, Canada, India, New Zealand, Asia Pacific, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.

The gradual rollout of Gemini in Chrome continues today with a launch in the UK.
