Gemini 4 Argon In Google Search Via AI Mode

Google rolled out Gemini 4 Argon globally in Search via AI Mode for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, following the model's announcement a couple of weeks earlier, according to Google's Nick Fox and Robby Stein. Stein said on X that Argon "brings big improvements to tackling nuanced, multi-step tasks in AI Mode" and is "better at understanding your intent and following your instructions in back and forth conversations." The release includes links in AI Mode responses, unlike the earlier 3.8 Flash release, and is also available in the Gemini app.
