# Gemini 3.8 Flash rolling out three weeks after last release

After the [last model release](https://9to5google.com/2026/08/13/gemini-3-7-flash-launch/) three weeks ago, Google today is rolling out Gemini 3.8 Flash. This marks the third Flash update in three months.

Our most intelligent Flash model, engineered for long-horizon software engineering, autonomous agents, and complex enterprise workflows.

3.8 Flash beats its predecessor in various benchmarks:

Similar to the previous model, Gemini 3.8 Flash’s knowledge cutoff date is March 2026 “for some domains while in others [users] may experience the model’s knowledge is limited to January 2025.”

Google is once again offering an introductory price of $0.75/1M input tokens and $3.75/1M output tokens until December 31.

Gemini 3.8 Flash is already live in the Gemini app for Google AI subscribers, Antigravity, and AI Studio.
