Front-End Checklist

David Dias released an AI-enabled version of the Front-End Checklist, adding a skill and an MCP server so AI agents can check websites against the decade-old checklist's advice. The checklist covers items such as print stylesheets, hero image lazy loading and preloading, and reduced motion preferences.

David Dias has been working on “Front-End Checklist” stuff for a decade, and it looks like this latest version of it https://frontendchecklist.io/ a little over a year. There is loads of good general advice in it that can be easy to forget: - Did you do a print stylesheet? - Did you accidentally lazy load or not preload the hero image? - Are you respecting reduced motion preferences? Now it’s all AI’d up, which makes sense, having a skill and MCP so your agent can check your sites against all this advice.
