Fortinet patches critical FortiOS flaws found with AI help

Fortinet released security hardening updates for FortiOS, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiMail and FortiAuthenticator, withholding details of the fixed vulnerabilities until November 10, 2026. Fortinet Chief Information Security Officer Carl Windsor said the flaws were uncovered with the help of AI models and validated by humans, and warned that attackers also have access to AI tools to find vulnerabilities and build exploits.
