Fixing US-Centric Bias in AI: Open-Sourcing Claude Trade Skills

Developer Om Talaviya released claude-trade-skills, a free open-source Claude Code plugin that adds country-specific trade compliance rules to AI-generated export paperwork. The plugin targets US-centric bias in AI tools by supporting India GST compliance (LUT/RFD-11 filings, ICEGATE refund error fixes, Rule 89(4) ITC calculations) and region-correct invoice identifiers such as IEC/GSTIN for India, EORI for the UK/EU, and TRN for the UAE, while avoiding guessed tariff codes or exchange rates.
