Fewer genAI clones of "someone else's specific game" should flood the net going forwards, as Anthropic tell Claude to stop messing with some stuff other people own

Anthropic has instructed its Claude generative AI tool to decline user requests to recreate or clone existing games, restricting the model to generating only "original" games from its training data instead of risking infringement on intellectual property owned by other companies. The change follows a surge of users employing the technology to produce remakes of existing titles.
