- My Mac doesn’t have a notch. Does it still work?
- Yes. On Macs without a cutout Fetch draws its own at menu-bar height. On notched Macs it measures the real cutout and hangs a short extension below it, so the two read as one.
- How do I get it after I buy?
- Checkout hands you straight back to a page with your licence key and the download, so you can be running it a minute later. The same key activates Fetch on three Macs.
- Is the dictation really private?
- Yes. Transcription runs on Apple’s on-device speech engine and the cleanup runs on Apple’s on-device model. There is no network call anywhere in the dictation path. If a language has no on-device model, Fetch tells you rather than quietly sending your audio to a server.
- Why pay if I already pay for Claude?
- Fetch isn’t an AI subscription and doesn’t resell anyone’s model. It’s a one-time $19.99 for the Mac app that watches the agents you already run, which is why it needs an active Claude Code or Codex subscription to be useful. That one payment covers three Macs.
- Do I pay again for updates?
- No. One payment, then every future version, including the widgets and integrations still to come.
- Does it work with both Claude Code and Codex?
- Both, side by side. Each session shows its own agent’s logo and its own status light, grouped by tool once you have more than one kind running.
