Extend Verify helps AI agents flag suspicious documents before acting

Extend announced Extend Verify, a document fraud detection API that lets developers and AI agents assess a document's integrity before using it to make decisions. The API targets workflows where documents initiate actions, such as bank statements supporting lending decisions, invoices triggering payments and receipts substantiating insurance claims, areas where companies currently rely on human reviewers to catch fraud. Extend said AI has made forgeries easier to produce.
