The company says a request often has to go through a business intelligence analyst or a services engagement, and the wait can run to a week.\n\nSarah Edwards, Kantata’s chief product and strategy officer, said the value of an insight in professional services “depends on how quickly you can act on it.” Reports often show up after the moment has passed, she said.\n\nExpertise Insights runs on Amazon Web Services Inc.’s [Amazon Quick](https://aws.amazon.com/quick/). On top of it Kantata has added a semantic layer that translates database field names into the vocabulary staff at a particular firm use every day. Firm-specific terms are covered, down to distinctions such as “chargeable utilization” versus “billable utilization.”\n\nKantata ships the product with four ready-made dashboards. Finance teams get margin, revenue per head and cost leakage trends in one of them, and the rest are given over to delivery, time and resourcing. On the delivery dashboard, project health is broken out by schedule, scope, budget and client health.\n\nUsers who need something the stock dashboards don’t show can turn to Ask Insights for new analysis on demand. Kantata says a complete board deck can be assembled in minutes. Saved work goes into Bookmarks and Pinboards, so a filtered view or a one-off analysis can be kept without spawning another copy of a master dashboard. Kantata is pitching that as a cure for dashboard sprawl.\n\nThe software can also link capacity, margin, delivery risk and financial performance. Piecing those relationships together might otherwise take several reports, or a seasoned operator who knows where to look.\n\nVikas Nehru, Kantata’s chief technology officer, said artificial intelligence in professional services should make a firm’s “collective expertise available at the moment a decision needs to be made.” That requires clean data and context, he said, plus AI that understands how a business works.\n\nLife sciences consultancy Lumanity Inc. is among the customers already running the product. Andy Newbill, its senior manager of professional services automation, recently put together a complex report using calculated fields in an hour, and by his estimate the job would have taken hours before. Most striking to him was the chance to describe what he needs “in natural language and have the system help me build it.”\n\nKantata announced Expertise Insights at the [Technology & Services World conference](https://www.tsia.com/events/conference) in Las Vegas, and it is available now. The company’s previous launch, [Agent Studio](https://siliconangle.com/2026/09/22/kantata-debuts-agent-studio-for-building-custom-ai-agents-in-plain-language/), came a month ago and lets firms build custom AI agents by describing them in plain language.\n\n##### Image: SiliconANGLE/GPT Image 2.5\n\n# A message from John Furrier, co-founder of SiliconANGLE:\n\nSupport our mission to keep content open and free by engaging with theCUBE community. **Join theCUBE’s Alumni Trust Network**, where technology leaders connect, share intelligence and create opportunities.\n\n- **15M+ viewers of theCUBE videos** , powering conversations across AI, cloud, cybersecurity and more\n- **11.4k+ theCUBE alumni** — Connect with more than 11,400 tech and business leaders shaping the future through a unique trusted-based network\n\n### Are you an AWS customer?  Support SiliconANGLE financially by buying your AWS services from our Marketplace portal page and links: [https://siliconangle.com/aws-marketplace/](https://siliconangle.com/aws-marketplace/)\n\n##### **About SiliconANGLE Media**\n\n[SiliconANGLE](https://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&url=https%3A%2F%2Fsiliconangle.com%2F&esheet=54119777&newsitemid=20240910506833&lan=en-US&anchor=SiliconANGLE&index=9&md5=646b1b564e2259100a2b8638aab0a552),\n\n[theCUBE Network](https://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thecube.net%2F&esheet=54119777&newsitemid=20240910506833&lan=en-US&anchor=theCUBE+Network&index=10&md5=7de2a85f95ab4a4a495cede20b8cb1da),\n\n[theCUBE Research](https://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&url=https%3A%2F%2Fthecuberesearch.com%2F&esheet=54119777&newsitemid=20240910506833&lan=en-US&anchor=theCUBE+Research&index=11&md5=7bb33676722925eb57d588ec343e4f6f),\n\n[CUBE365](https://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cube365.net%2F&esheet=54119777&newsitemid=20240910506833&lan=en-US&anchor=CUBE365&index=12&md5=d310fb35919714e66ad8d42c9c0c1bc6),\n\n[theCUBE AI](https://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thecubeai.com%2F&esheet=54119777&newsitemid=20240910506833&lan=en-US&anchor=theCUBE+AI&index=13&md5=b8b98472f8071b23ebb10ab9a8dd0683)and theCUBE SuperStudios — with flagship locations in Silicon Valley and the New York Stock Exchange — SiliconANGLE Media operates at the intersection of media, technology and AI.\n\nFounded by tech visionaries John Furrier and Dave Vellante, SiliconANGLE Media has built a dynamic ecosystem of industry-leading digital media brands that reach 15+ million elite tech professionals.
