Eufy’s New Robomower Has Its Own Edge-Trimming Arm

At IFA 2026, Anker sub-brand Eufy announced the Robot Lawnmower S2 Max, a fully autonomous robotic mower with an edge-trimming arm, a 48 TOPS processor for onboard AI, and support for slopes up to 80% and lawns up to 3.7 acres, priced at 3,999 euros with a May 2027 release and no planned U.S. launch due to the FCC's ban on foreign-made robotic devices. Eufy also unveiled the Robot Vacuum Omni E35, which received the Asthma & Allergy Friendly Certification from the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, launching September 25 at $1,100 with pre-sales starting September 4.

It’s also capable of handling up to 3.7 acres, Eufy says. Until very recently, when it came to handling law edges, the best robotic mowers had to offer was automatically lowering mowing decks that could also slide sideways to attempt to get closer to walls and other lawn obstacles. It’s a nice but imperfect solution; no matter how close they can get with their horizontal blades, they’ll never save you from going back with a string trimmer to clean up at the end of a mow if you really want a tidy lawn. Eufy isn’t actually the first company to tackle edge mowing with a separate module.
