Internet sleuths questioned whether an image shared by Eric Trump was edited with AI

Eric Trump has come under fire for sharing what appeared to be an edited photo of his two children with their grandfather, President Donald Trump.
After a weekend of golfing at his father’s Bedminster club in New Jersey, Eric, 42, shared several images on Instagram Monday— including one featuring his two children, Eric “Luke” Trump and Carolina Trump, that caught the Internet’s attention.
Several blurry spots stand out in the image, raising questions about whether it was somehow edited.
Fuzzy portions appear near the president’s left ear, near Luke’s right ear and in the background. Internet sleuths also pointed out that there appeared to be an extra foot on the ground behind Luke.
Critics had a field day calling out the editing fail.
“They do live on an altered state of reality so not surprising that they alter their family photos,” one X user wrote.
“Somebody’s phantom neck and chin coming out of that poor boy’s ear,” another commentator quipped.
Others were far less kind in their commentary on the apparent snafu.
“When your dad is such a hideous creature that his low IQ son tries to AI his dad's image and fails miserably because incompetence is in their blood,” one user wrote.
“Your old man doesn't even know their names. I hope AI is the closest your little girl ever gets to that monster,” another critic slammed.
Eric wasn’t the only Trump to share a modified image over the weekend.
President Trump, who has an affinity for sharing AI-generated images, shared a touched-up photograph of himself from the weekend golf trip in which he appeared much more youthful.
The 80-year-old was pictured Sunday driving a golf cart alongside retired professional golfer Gary Player, 90, as they attended the LIV Golf New York tournament.
Trump, who often posts about how young he feels for his age, seemingly underwent a computer-generated glow-up in the image, which he shared on Truth Social.
“With the great Gary Player, today, at Bedminster!” he wrote. Meanwhile, Player appeared to look almost the same in the computer-generated image as the original, non-modified image.
