Equals Money launched a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets customers' AI tools read account data but blocks them from initiating payments, according to SiliconANGLE. The fintech said the setup separates agent read access from money movement, addressing the risk that a rogue agent could transfer funds rather than just leak data. Identity providers are adding controls for that separation, the report said.
