AI tools ship with one-shot homepage generators that can’t scale or remain consistent. Startups vibe-code HTML canvas-based editors with surface-level LLM integrations. Established tools add tokens to the list of things they charge for.
Most tools rely on and charging you rent for them.
They might let you copy a design as HTML, CSS or React, but they don’t integrate with your codebase.

Your .elyx design files live locally on your computer — or in your git repository, alongside your source code.
So you can track changes, manage conflicts, and bring your own agent, or private model.
These are your files. Nobody can rent you limited access via their MCP server. Elyx doesn’t even need to be open. Run agents on your server, or leave the job to one of the big labs. Schedule a nightly check for drift between design and development. Or give a remote agent a design task while you travel.

AI’s best use case today is software development. Code lives in local files that agents can easily read and edit. Their changes can be vastly more complex than can fit in their context windows. Version control means those changes and their reasons add to an agent's understanding.
