Elevated errors on claude.ai, Claude Code, Claude Cowork and the Claude API

Anthropic reported elevated error rates across claude.ai, the Claude API, Claude Code and Claude Cowork beginning at 14:21 UTC on September 29, with users seeing failed requests, errors loading or sending conversations, and repeated sign-in prompts. By 14:41 UTC Anthropic said it had applied a mitigation and error rates had dropped substantially, though some sign-in attempts, account actions, and Claude Code and Cowork sessions were still failing as the company worked toward a full fix.
