Elevated errors affecting the Gmail connector

Anthropic reported on October 28, 2026 that it is investigating elevated errors when searching and reading email through the Gmail connector, a fault the company said does not affect other connectors. The incident, first posted at 03:59 UTC and updated at 04:00 UTC, affects claude.ai, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork, and Anthropic said it will provide an update as soon as possible.
