# DuckDuckGo anti-AI glasses offer zero cameras and notifications

While it’s been reported that Apple is [debating whether or not](https://9to5mac.com/2026/07/26/apples-ai-glasses-to-be-unveiled-at-wwdc27-report/) the camera in its [upcoming glasses product](https://9to5mac.com/guides/apple-glasses/) should allow users to shoot photos and videos, [DuckDuckGo](https://9to5mac.com/guides/duckduckgo/) is going one step further …

The privacy-first search engine company is selling a pair of sunglasses called DuckDuckGo Paso Robles with the strapline “Normal F***ing Sunglasses.”

Knockaround and DuckDuckGo are introducing the world’s most innovative anti-surveillance sunglasses. AKA Normal F***ing Sunglasses. No camera, no microphone, no AI, no battery, no electronics of any kind. Just a beautifully crafted pair of matte black sunglasses with a glossy DuckDuckGo logo, designed to block the sun and never send data to the cloud.

The company cites product benefits as infinite battery life, zero notifications guaranteed, and a “seamless offline mode.”

While the company is obviously using satire to make a privacy point, the glasses really do exist and [you can buy them](https://knockaround.com/products/duckduckgo-paso-robles). It’s a clever piece of PR.
