The PowerColor Reaper RX 9070 is one of the best GPUs that you can get your hands on, especially if you’re operating on a budget. This graphics card has insane value as it is perfect for 1440p gaming, but surprisingly holds its own very well at 4K as well. On top of that, it doesn’t skip out on the 16GB of VRAM, which means that it can house large AI models and heavy 4K textures easily. Right now, it has a 17% price cut and will set you back $579.99.
We think this is a very reasonable price tag for this GPU, as it is also a triple-fan variant and brings solid performance and value to the table. However, you can explore other options before making a decision, and we’ve covered more GPU deals at the bottom of this page.

What made this GPU stand out #
Allows you to experience 4K gaming
This GPU has an amazing gaming performance as it can handle any title at 1440p and churn out high frames, but its 4K output is also worth noting. It can churn out frames in the 40 – 50 range, which is great, as it means that with the help of FSR 4, you can push it past the 60 FPS mark or bring it very close to it. At 4K, you’re not looking for super high FPS, but a consistent output so that the game doesn’t stutter, and that is what this GPU should provide.

Decent productivity for the price point
The productivity of this is decent as it has the potential with its 16GB VRAM, but the lower stream processor count doesn’t allow it to push past the hardware limitations. So, you will get a good output, but the RX 9070 XT or RTX 5070 Ti will easily outperform it in every professional workflow. That might sound disappointing, but it isn’t like this GPU is a dud, as it can still handle 1080p and 1440p video editing, rendering, and more with a reasonable turnaround.
Good cooling design for optimal performance
The three fans in this graphics card feature a high-efficiency ring blade design that allows for more air pressure and airflow without making more noise. The copper base direct touch plate also works to efficiently transfer the heat away from the GPU chip using the heatsink and heat pipes, and away from the entire package with the fans pulling in cool air. Between the GPU chip and the heatsink, you’ll find the high-thermal-conductivity Honeywell PTM7950. This is a phase-change solution that fills the gaps, eliminating air pockets for the highest level of heat conductivity.
