Does Ryzen mobil AI+392 work for VFIO (allow vgpu or similar)? A user on the Level1Techs forum asks whether the Ryzen AI Max 392 processor supports VFIO passthrough with vGPU splitting for running a Windows VM alongside a Linux host. The forum response indicates that the Ryzen AI 300 series currently only supports full GPU passthrough and does not yet support vGPU splitting. exee https://forum.level1techs.com/u/exee 1 Finally need to upgrade my venerable Ryzen 5800H laptop. My current setup includes VFIO passthrough of the discrete GPU to a a windows VM for productivity work. Host is usaally a cachyos or manjaro host. Things work great except with the upgrade to W11 in the VM things are slowing down. Has anybody experimented with the new AI+ max 392 chips and vfio? I would prefer to also have access to the linux host while the windows VM is up so splitting the GPU would be ideal. Otherwise I can get a 9955HX with discrete GPU and do things that way. Currently, the Ryzen AI 300 series only supports full GPU passthrough and does not yet support vGPU splitting.
