DLSS Updater enables you to scan your system for games, and then replace their upscaling and frame-generation with updated versions or something else entirely.
With Native Linux and Windows support, it's a popular project to make things simpler for updating and swapping the likes of DLSS, Neural Rendering, Ray Reconstruction, Frame Generation, Streamline, XeSS, FSR & DirectStorage.
With DLSS Updater 5.2.0 they've managed to pull in AMD FSR 4.1.2 support thanks to the new SDK release from AMD.
Key Features
New Additions
Added support for FSR 4.1.2:
- Upscaling to 4.1.2.
- Frame Generation to 4.0.2.
- Vulkan support.
- Support for RDNA2 GPU's, integrated RDNA2 GPU's are still skipped, as AMD do not list them as supported.
Changes
- Updated Flet to 1.0.5, this fixes an upstream issue where HDR could become disabled, or the monitor could dim when running the application as a biproduct.
- Fixed some Navi 24 GPU's being detected as RDNA3, and the RX 7600M XT as an older generation.
- In addition, fixed restoring a game after an FSR 4 upgade left it with no FSR at all, this was due to the original DLL not being backed up.
