Deslopify: Analyze a project to find out when it turned into AI slop Developer orsinium-labs released Deslopify, a Python tool that scans git repositories, Go go.mod files and Rust Cargo.toml dependencies to detect when a project began using AI, based on git commit authors, co-authors, committers and agent files. The tool can be run against local or remote repositories with commands such as "python3 -m deslopify https://github.com/sqlc-dev/sqlc", and its author notes that deliberate concealment of AI usage cannot be detected and false positives are possible but rare, citing anti-AI projects that include an AGENTS.md file barring AI contributions. Analyze a project to find out when it turned into AI slop. Can scan git repos local or remote , and Go go.mod and Rust Cargo.toml dependencies. AI detection is done based on git commit author, co-author, committer, agent files, etc. If the project author deliberately hides AI usage, we cannot detect it. False-positives are also possible but rare : some anti-AI projects include an AGENTS.md file telling AI agents that the project is not open to AI contributions. git clone https://github.com/orsinium-labs/deslopify cd deslopify Clone and analyze remote repository can pass multiple space-separated URLs : python3 -m deslopify https://github.com/sqlc-dev/sqlc Analyze local repository: python3 -m deslopify ~/Documents/sqlc Analyze Go project dependencies: python3 -m deslopify ./go.mod Analyze Rust project dependencies: python3 -m deslopify ./Cargo.toml
