Today, Project 0 is rolling out our DeFi for AI Agents solution, allowing users to earn yield without doing any of the work themselves.
Asking an AI agent to find the next token that will 10x is still speculation. Asking it to find stablecoin yield is a much more practical task: compare current lending rates, weigh the risks, and identify the options that fit your criteria. It’s a concrete process an agent can repeat as market conditions change, without needing to predict the next token rally.
P0 supports AI agents through an MCP server, giving tools like Claude, Cursor, Codex and other MCP-capable agents a direct interface to P0’s DeFi infrastructure. Instead of manually moving between protocols, dashboards and wallets, users can connect an agent to their P0 portfolio and interact with DeFi through natural language.
One agent connection gives access to 98% of Solana’s credit market.
DeFi Through a Single Prompt #
Once connected to P0, an AI agent can act as a DeFi co-pilot for a user’s portfolio.
The agent handles research and prepares unsigned transactions for core P0 actions. Your wallet signs and submits them, so you remain in control of execution.
For example, you could ask: “Compare the available USDC lending opportunities on P0, explain the risks, and prepare a transaction to deposit 100 USDC into the option I choose.”
You choose how to keep track of your portfolio: ask for a one-time health check, or ask your agent to set up notifications or a recurring task. The schedule and notification options depend on the agent and tools you use.
With this deployment, we give users a more powerful interface for interacting with the DeFi infrastructure they already use, autonomously.
Getting Started #
Connect your agent to P0 through MCP to explore markets and check positions in read-only mode.
To execute transactions, you currently need to set up the connection between your wallet and your agent yourself, using a compatible wallet tool or a custom signing integration. The setup depends on your agent and wallet; connecting to P0’s MCP server does not connect your wallet automatically.
Coming Soon: Easier Wallet Management #
We plan to make it easier to connect and manage your wallet through your agent, reducing the setup needed to move from research to action.
This improvement is coming soon. For now, you can configure your own wallet connection or use P0 through your agent in read-only mode.
