DeepSeek released DeepSeek V4 Pro 0813 on OpenRouter, following the open-weights releases of DeepSeek-V4-Pro in April and DeepSeek-V4-Flash-0731 in July, though open weights for the new version are not yet confirmed. Developer Simon Willison observed notably different outputs for the model's low, medium, and high reasoning levels, a variation he has not seen from other models. Benchmark results were shared via DeepSeek's official WeChat group, then reposted on Reddit (where moderators deleted the post) and later on Hacker News.
