DeepSeek API: weekend usage now billed at off-peak rates all day

DeepSeek announced that starting 00:00 Beijing Time on Sunday, August 23, 2026, off-peak rates will apply all day on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays, Beijing Time) for its API usage, as detailed in its pricing documentation. The change means weekend API calls will be billed at the lower off-peak rate throughout the day, replacing the previous peak/off-peak time-based billing for weekends.
