Debian developers rejected an LLM ban and left disclosure voluntary

Debian developers voted through August 28 to reject a ban on LLM-generated contributions, instead adopting a non-binding policy that encourages voluntary disclosure of AI assistance, according to project secretary Kurt Roeckx.
