# Dataset Viewer API returning 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable for all datasets

Hello Hugging Face team,

The Dataset Viewer appears to be unavailable for me across all datasets.

I am getting the following error when accessing the Dataset Viewer API:

[https://datasets-server.huggingface.co/is-valid?dataset=gbharti/finance-alpaca](https://datasets-server.huggingface.co/is-valid?dataset=gbharti/finance-alpaca)

Response:

503 Service Temporarily Unavailable

Unexpected token ‘<’, “…” is not valid JSON

I have tested:

`gbharti/finance-alpaca`

)The issue appears to affect the Dataset Viewer service rather than a specific dataset configuration.

Could someone confirm if there is an ongoing issue with `datasets-server`

or guide troubleshooting?
