Crusoe, the AI factory company, today opened its second manufacturing facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as it continues to grow the skilled team that builds the equipment powering America's AI leadership.

The new facility adds 400,000 square feet to Crusoe's Tulsa operations, bringing the company's national manufacturing footprint to roughly 1 million square feet. The facilities make the electrical equipment that serves as the foundation for AI innovation, including medium-voltage switchgear, low-voltage switchboards, electrical enclosures, industrial controls, and custom-fabricated copper busbar. Crusoe has hired more than 300 local craft workers to build these components across the two Tulsa sites, up from the 100 expected when the first facility opened in 2024. Their work supports gigawatts of AI infrastructure, including more than 2,500 switchboards supplied to Crusoe’s flagship Stargate Project site in Abilene, Texas.

The Tulsa facilities depend on local labor in everything from engineering and welding to powder coating, fabrication, and electrical assembly. That hands-on expertise is exactly what gives Crusoe its edge: because these components are designed and built in-house, the company can turn around in days what often takes the rest of the industry months. Owning the process end to end also means better quality, more flexibility, and more control, with every unit tested by the same team that built it.
