CrowdStrike partnered with AI chip specialists Cerebras Systems.
The security vendor touted Cerebras's AI inference speeds in underpinning its AI detection and response (AIDR) services. Cerebras, meanwhile, will adopt CrowdStrike's Falcon suite to safeguard its operations.
Cerebras implied CrowdStrike would be the first security client to leverage its wafer-scale CS-3 systems, which are designed to support AI inferencing, the process where a trained AI model generates predictions and outputs from new input data. Cerebras noted the deal marked "a new frontier" for the vendor, although it does hold a prior arrangement with security vendor Armis.

With CrowdStrike, Cerebras adds to a growing customer set that includes the likes of Amazon Web Services (AWS). The hyperscaler combined its AWS Trainium-powered servers with Cerebras' CS-3 systems and elastic fabric adapter (EFA) networking for deployment on its AI service Amazon Bedrock within AWS data centers.
