The Nasdaq-listed AI cloud provider deepens its relationship with Rescale as it raises full-year revenue guidance past $12 billion
CoreWeave just landed another building block in its AI cloud empire. Rescale, the high-performance computing platform used by engineers and researchers to run simulations and AI workloads, is expanding its cloud ecosystem to include CoreWeave’s infrastructure, giving its users direct access to one of the most GPU-rich environments on the market.
The move deepens a relationship that started back in July 2024, when Rescale first integrated CoreWeave’s GPU resources into its platform. By July 2026, the partnership expanded from GPU access to full multi-node CPU high-performance computing support.
What the partnership actually does #
Rescale operates as a unified platform where engineers can run HPC simulations, AI model training, and other resource-intensive tasks across multiple cloud providers, letting users pick the best infrastructure for each job without being locked into a single vendor.
By expanding onto CoreWeave Cloud, Rescale users now get access to infrastructure that was purpose-built for AI and GPU-intensive workloads. CoreWeave brands itself as “The Essential Cloud for AI,” and its entire stack was designed from the ground up around GPU computing.
The multi-node CPU HPC capability that went live on CoreWeave by July 2026 is particularly notable. Single-node GPU work is one thing, but coordinating compute jobs across multiple CPU nodes requires tight networking, low latency, and infrastructure that can handle the communication overhead between machines.
CoreWeave’s momentum keeps building #
This partnership announcement comes on the heels of CoreWeave’s Q2 2026 earnings report, released on August 11, which saw the company raise its full-year revenue guidance to a range of $12.4 billion to $13.2 billion.
CoreWeave went public on Nasdaq under the ticker CRWV and was added to the Nasdaq-100 Index in June 2026.
During the Q2 earnings call, CoreWeave highlighted its expanding relationships with customers including Rescale, Databricks, and Runway ML. Each of those partnerships targets a different slice of the AI and computing market: Rescale for engineering HPC, Databricks for data analytics and AI platforms, and Runway ML for creative AI applications like video generation.
What this means for the AI cloud landscape #
The Rescale partnership fits into a broader strategic pattern for CoreWeave: building out an ecosystem of software platforms and services that run on top of its infrastructure. Rather than trying to build every application layer itself, CoreWeave is positioning its cloud as the foundation that other specialized platforms plug into.
Rescale’s role as an abstraction layer across multiple clouds means that CoreWeave gets exposure to enterprise customers who might not have gone directly to its platform otherwise.
