Copado extends Agentia agentic AI DevOps platform for Salesforce with headless automation
Copado Inc., a low-code DevOps solution provider for Salesforce, today announced it’s extending its Agentia platform with Headless, bringing it directly into developer tools and operational workflows.
Agentia is Copado’s artificial intelligence-powered AgentOps platform that allows developers to plan, build, test and release software across the entire ecosystem.
Headless brings the platform directly into independent development editors or terminals, exactly where developers do their work, using Model Context Protocol and command-line interfaces. This means software engineers can automate tasks with AI agents without ever switching out of their tools, staying embedded in code while the agents work behind the scenes.
According to Copado, developers ship even more code today than ever before. Much of that code is either generated by or augmented by AI agents. However, many lines of that code never reach production because developers are still tangled in the paperwork of managing tickets, reading or writing documentation, manually checking conflicts and handling release management.
The company cited one example of a customer that calculated 216 hours of manual pre- and post-deployment steps per year across two release managers before deploying Agentia. Another spent three weeks on manual regression testing before a single test could reach production, and a team required 10 days to validate 2,000 production configurations per release.
Headless allows AI agents to become background operators rather than chat assistants. The new solution equips agents with built-in commands to run across Copado’s entire suite of tools and become active platform operators that handle governance, team coordination and conflict detection automatically.
The company said this can dramatically cut the time it takes to handle the day-to-day “paperwork” that bogs down release cycles and free up developers to spend time coding and doing what they do best: producing good, thoughtful work and collaborating with each other.
When Agentia was released in April, Copado said it helped pioneer Salesforce-first automation and brought development and operations teams closer together to help them adopt the power of agentic AI.
“Since we pioneered Salesforce-native automation, the shift from DevOps to AgentOps marks a significant evolution in software delivery that requires we reinvent the platform powering it,” Chief Product Officer Rajit Joseph said.
According to Copado, Agentia’s embedded governance and testing can enable enterprise teams to move up to 70% faster while reducing production defects.
