Connect Claude to Perplexity AI Pro with Zero Search API Fees

A developer built perplexity-pro-mcp, an open-source MCP server that connects Claude Desktop and Claude Code to Perplexity Pro using session cookie credentials instead of a paid search API. The server exposes tools for real-time web search, multi-turn follow-ups, thread management, and Markdown/PDF report export, along with Perplexity's internet, academic, Reddit, and YouTube focus modes, letting Claude ground answers in cited sources without per-call search fees.
