Claude Sonnet 5 introductory pricing becomes permanent

Anthropic announced that the introductory pricing for Claude Sonnet 5, launched in June at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, will become permanent. The model, described as the company's most agentic Sonnet yet, can make plans, use tools like browsers and terminals, and run autonomously at a level previously requiring larger and more expensive models.
